A society worth living in

The United Nations has always valued justice and equality above all for the global population. As of 2021, many heinous atrocities in shape in internal conflicts or full-fledged wars have plagued many nations worldwide. The general public is put through the horrors of war and torture daily because they were inhabiting a location lost to where the conflict arose. Places like Syria, Palestine, and Europe's migration crisis to which we will remember the small Aylan Kurdi, a two-year-old child paying the ultimate price for.

The United Nation's around-the-clock efforts to relieve the public in such conditions from their suffering are admirable. Still, in the end, it falls short of the fact that the amount of injustice and violence in the world overpowers the reach and resources of organizations such as the UN.
